This post is specifically for those who are more experienced traders – especially those interested in only doing freebies part time, but still making a decent income. If you are new, you will still want to read it, because it will help you later on. If you are anything like me, when you got your first payment for a trade, you got really excited. So excited that you started spending a bunch of time at the forums, trying to find more sites to green on.

When you were experienced enough with Method 1, you started trading Green 4 green. After a few of those trades you moved on to method 2, and your Paypal account was starting to impress you.

At this point, you started spending even more time attached to your computer and it is almost starting to take over your life. You can not stop thinking about freebies. It's making you money, and it's great. There's only one problem – The rest of your life is suffering. Not only that, but you are EXHAUSTED.

As terrible as this might sound (well, just the last part), this is where I was a few months back. Every so often, my wife came to speak with me, and it seemed as if I never had the time, because I was always “busy with freebies”.

It was then that I decided that things needed to change. I also realized that although I was making a descent amount of money, I was being very inefficient with the way I was spending my time. It was at that point that I decided to restructure everything that I was doing. In order for you to get a good understanding of the change lets look at before and after:

Before: I tried to make myself as available as possible. If someone sent me a private message (pm) at a forum or an email, I tried my best to reply immediately. I set my computer to play a sound as soon as a message came and as soon as the message came, I jumped to my pm or email and responded. I did this while I was at work, which was very distracting, and also while at home.

After: I started batch processing. I chose times during the day that were designated for responding to pms and email. I spent that half hour (or hour) responding to all of the questions and inquires that I received. This allowed me to be more focused and I actually did accomplish more.

Before: I monitored the forums constantly. I kept the live feed of the forum open. I stared at the screen looking for a post to respond to. As soon as I saw someone with a question, I answered. I tried my best to post, post and post some more, all day long (at least so it seemed).

After: I applied the batch processing to what I did at the forums. I decided that in order to get myself out there, I needed to post a lot. However, I tried to do most of my posting in bulks. I decided on times that I would spent focusing on responding to posts. In my posts, I tried to be as “insightful” as possible. I decided I wanted to post at least 20 times per day and tried to meet that goal in a short time.

What was the result? It's quite simple – I had more time on my hands. Trading freebies stopped taking over my life and started enhancing my lifestyle. So, if you are wondering how in the world you would be able to make money while only doing freebies part time, start batch processing.

Now, I know that sounds pretty good. Let me be honest though. I have yet to perfect my batch processing. I still find myself attached to the computer at times. As much as I understand the theory of what I said, it does not always work out so well. I'm still working on myself, but wanted to share this concept with you. I hope it helps you to be more efficient in what you are doing.

Ok, here's the fine print: If you are just starting out with method 2, it is very likely that you will have to put in more time to build your reputation. In any business, getting it going is usually the hardest part. Put in the extra time in the beginning, and then work on the batch processing as funds are flowing regularly.

So there are my tips. Do you have any questions on how to be more efficient? Feel free to ask them here.
