Are you using Facebook to grow your blog?
Is it working for you? Are you looking for some tips.
Well in this interview, you'll learn about how Amos is using Facebook effectively to build his audience.
Inside This Interview
Facebook – it's the 500 lb gorilla that we all hate to love, but can't help but love it.
With over 1.2 BILLION people, it's obviously a force to be reckoned with, and if you're looking for a place to get the word out about your blog, don't overlook Facebook.
In recent weeks, I've made the decision to focus my social media efforts on Facebook, and because of that I will be doing a series of interviews with people who can teach me about Facebook.
Well, Amos Johnson is the first of those people. When he contacted me and told me that he was doing some pretty cool things on Facebook that were yielding very positive results, I just had to get him on the line to share that with you. Here are some of the things we get into:
- How to get specific with who your audience is
- How he used Facebook ads to accelerate the growth of his blog
- What to say in your Facebook ads
- Where to direct people to when using Facebook ads
- How often you should be posting for maximum engagement
- How to use Facebook ads to test a concept
- What you can do with a $100 budget
Personally, I've always been a fan of Free traffic. Quite frankly, I'm starting to see that paid traffic can be a great way to get a quick jump start – whether it's for building traffic or for selling products. This is something that I will be playing around with in the future.
If this is something you've been thinking about, then you definitely want to check out this interview. Tons of value in it. Enjoy!

Awesome podcast! I didn’t even think you guys even knew each other. This one has to be my favorite podcast here in Become a Blogger!
Now THIS was a fun podcast, first because I follow both of your blogs and engage with you both on Facebook in the Become a Blogger fan page and Amos in the Kingdom Driven Entrepreneurs group. I am going to listen to this one again! Loved it!
Glad you found value in it Ricardo. I definitely enjoyed chatting with Amos. He shared a lot of great value.
Hi Ricardo, I also had fun chatting with Leslie on this podcast.
Really great episode Leslie and Amos (made doing yard work a joy today 🙂 )
Have been dragging my feet with Facebook and this really motivated me to get going. Like the series Leslie and congrats to the successes Amos!
Wishing Entrepreneurial Successes! Mike
Always glad to make yard work more fun 🙂
Facebook is definitely a force to be reckoned with and I’m enjoying implementing some of the strategies Amos spoke about. Seeing increased engagement already.
Hi Mike glad this was helpful. I usually listen to podcasts while washing dishes 🙂
Thanks again. Still amazes me how many people are unaware of what a “Podcast” is when we step outside online entrepreneurs. Theres so much variety for everyone, its amazing.
To making dish washing fun ~ Mike
Great interview. I think this will help me get my fan page rolling! Thanks to both Leslie and Amos.
Hi James, I am glad was help to you.
Great podcast. I listened to this one some time ago but came back to it today for the action-steps. I’m preparing for a webinar and will be using the Facebook Ad tactics mentioned here for increased exposure and signups. Thank you Leslie and Amos
Definitely let me know how it goes. This is something I plan on doing in the future too.
so far so good. I’m testing the following:
1- Ad to sign up page = LOW clicks HIGH cost
2- Ad to video status post about webinar – HIGH clicks LOW cost
Running this till Thursday so I’ll be happy to share more data then
Cool. Looking forward to hearing how it goes.
